Hector Gerardo Flores
I was born on August 23, 1971; in the city of Colonia Santa Rosa, Department of Oran, Province of Salta, Argentina. It is a small city, approximately 20,000 inhabitants, located in northern Argentina.
The city of Colonia Santa Rosa is located approximately 600 km from the city of San Miguel de Tucumán. I can say that my best memories of my teenage years are from this city.
I studied Electrical Engineering at the National University of Tucumán (UNT), Argentina. Since the end of 1996, I have worked and continue to work in oil companies looking for gas and oil for more than 25 years, as field service, in companies such as Baker Hughes, Schlumberger, Geokinetics, BGP, etc.
In 2009, I finished my job in Chile and started working in Brazil. I currently live in Brazil with my family and continue working there, always in the same job with gas and oil companies.
In 2020 and 2021, during the pandemic, I participated in the Cosmology I and Cosmology II courses offered by the Federal University of Santa Catarina (UFSC). From 2021 onwards, I dedicated myself to writing scientific articles as an independent researcher.
My life goal is to find a theory that explains the origin of the universe, that allows me to unite the theory of general relativity with quantum mechanics, using the concepts learned in electrical engineering, cosmology theory and the experience acquired in signal processing in my work in terrestrial seismic with explosives and vibroseis.
